We have traveled to many new places from our beginning in 1925, taking on each new beginning as a new opportunity. Founded by John Thompson and Harold Ryman, the two bought out the tailor shop of M. Exner located in the Old Cordova building and opened their doors for business in August of that year.

Business was slow until the Florida boom burst in 1926, when they were able to move the company to the old Alhambra Hotel on Granada Street. After relocating several times, John Bailey became a partner in 1954, Bailey and Thompson bought out Thompson and Ryman in the late 1950’s.

The business moved again to 31 Cordova Street in 1974 bringing in a new partner, Greg Baker, in 1975. The former Security First Building at 61 Cordova Street was purchased and renovated in 1989 and is still the current home of ThompsonBaker Agency. After additional renovations in 2002, Dan Alexander and Matt Baker became partners as well. We continue today to be a company of great history and enjoy telling the stories that have been passed down since 1925.
